LM cysts develop through a non-healed prior skull fracture secondary
to normal intracranial pressure and require surgical repair. A CT scan
is definitely warranted to be certain of the dx.
Then I would be concerned re: possible abuse unless a prior fall is
known. An LM cyst can take several months to develop. Perhaps skeletal
xrays are warranted.
