That's because you think of a skeletal survey as being only for abuse. But what if we have a case of OI here? Or undermineralization for whatever reason? Just tell them that you want to make sure no further damage was done. In cases where I am reporting for abuse, I tell the families that certain injuries are required by law to be reported, no matter what I think happened. Most parents understand that. Vicki
