We're proud of our strong community. Learn what PCC's Users' Conference is like and how PCC enables pediatricians to share advice with other like-minded pediatricians on PCCTalk.
Michael Sachs:
Going to a PCC User Conference, it's like attending a family reunion. So, the first time you go, you're meeting people you might have met online through the PCCTalk listserv. Then after you go a couple of times, you recognize the same people over and over again. It's, "Hey, how are you doing?" and it's just a very strong positive feeling throughout the whole time.
Michael Sachs:
And the educational sessions, both on using the practice management system, using the EHR, and a general practice management for the office, they have great speakers, and you come back from that, and you have information to give your office that's going to make your office run better.
Irma Tackie:
PCCTalk is a platform for pediatricians who use PCC and we're able to ask each other questions. We're able to share things. Sometimes, we share templates. Someone has a ... And it could be things to do with office policy, it could be things to do with a clinical question. It could be anything at all, but it allows you to have that community of other like-minded pediatricians that you can ask questions, and I find that very helpful.
Richard Feuille:
Several of us go to Users' Conference every year where we learn more about the system, where we also interface with other PCC users, and make requests on ways to improve the system.
In the meantime, they constantly field requests from us on improvements that they can make, and every few months, we get a notice that there's going to be an update. They give us a link to video or videos of how to work with the new update, and these come in every few months so that they're constantly trying to improve the system and help the system work better for us.
Irma Tackie:
I was at a PCC User Conference in Vermont last year. It was my first ... Actually, my second. I went to my first PCC conference before I opened the office. It was the year we were going to open. No, the year before, but I was able to go to the very first one. That was in San Francisco, and that was a great experience. I learned a lot. I learned a lot about the system. I learned about coding, and then, I got a second chance to go last year. And this time, I went along with Yvette, who's our patient coordinator. It was a great experience. I loved it.
